The prescription

• Prescription is a written instruction to the pharmacist from a medical practicing, on the medicines to be use by a patient.

• Prescription can be issued by following groups of professional in Sri Lanka.

1.       A medical practitioner registered under the medical ordinance.

2.       A dental surgeon registered under the medical ordinance.

3.       The veterinary surgery registered under the veterinary surgeon and practitioner act.
